How are watt-hours calculated?

• Watt-Hours (Wh) are calculated as : Watts x Time (Hours)
• 1 Watt x 1 Hour = 1 Wh
• 1 Watt x 10 Hours = 10 Wh (e.g. standard cell phone battery)
• 200 Watts x 1 Hour = 200 Wh (e.g. 200 Watts used in 1 hour)
• 10 Watts x 20 Hours = 200 Wh (e.g. 10 Watts used every hour for 20 hours)

Examples:
• 15.0 Wh = 2021 Samsung Galaxy S21 cell phone battery
• 40.8 Wh = 2021 Apple iPad Pro 11”
• 69.6 Wh = 2021 Apple MacBook Pro 14”
• 200 Wh = ANIMATE QIKPAC battery usable energy
• 600-700 Wh = Typical car battery
• 100,000 Wh (100kWh) = 2021 Tesla Model S battery
• 194,000,000 (194MWh) = Hornsdale Power Reserve South Australia
• 40,000,000,000 (40GWh) = Planned Sun Cable Battery (Australia)   …to power Singapore!
